CLASSES!!!

Copic Cards

Yes, The Scrapbook Page carries COPIC Sketch Markers! Are you interested in learning a few basic coloring techniques using these little gems in our Copic 101 classes, or more advanced techniques in our Copic 102 classes? Why not give it a try with the help of one of our Certified Copic Instructors and see how easy it is to get beautiful results your very first time. We'll color and create in this totally hands on class.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CLASS: An individual set of Copic markers will be provided for your use during class, however, if you would like to assemble your cards in class, please bring your own wet & dry adhesives, scissors, and paper trimmer. If you do not have any of the supplies needed for class, or forget to bring them, we will be happy to assist you in purchasing them at the time of class.

It's a special treat for this month's recipe class, were making 12 pages! Join us as we create 12 pages loaded with recipes for amazing appetizers!

***NOTE An extra special request!! Please bring your favorite appetizer to share with everyone! And if possible please bring 24 typed copies of your recipe so that everyone in class leaves with a copy of your recipe too!

Card-ology

Come play with Rene as she combines some of her favorites to capture the seasons, for a Card-ology you won't want to miss. Each month, you'll create four of the coolest vintage cards you've ever seen.

Have you heard that coloring with Copics and Cardmaking are two of the HOTTEST trends in the industry? Have you seen all of the wonderfully colored creations around the store & on the 'net? Do you want to learn how fun and easy it all is? Then this is the class for you! Intermediate-level & seasoned Copic users alike will enjoy this hands-on class and walk away with some fun cards for teenagers and young adults!

Detailing Your Die-Cuts

Everyone has a personal die-cutting system now, and are cutting out shapes and letters at home. If you have a Sizzix, Cricut, QuicKutz, Spellbinders, BossKuts, or Pazzles, let Carolyn show you how to make your die-cuts come alive! Chalking, inking and doodling add depth, dimension and artistry to your die-cuts, making the ordinary - Extraordinary! Come learn techniques that you can use forever and bring your die-cuts to life.

**Each month we will 'Detail' 8-10 diecuts that will change to reflect that month's seasonal theme.**

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CLASS: Please bring your own wet & dry adhesives, scissors, paper trimmer, chalks, Black Detailing Pen (ZIG .005 Millennium), a White Signo Pen, a Sakura Clear Stardust GellyRoll Pen, and a brown ink pad (preferably a Tim Holtz Distressed Brushed Corduroy) . If you do not have any of the supplies needed for class, or forget to bring them, we will be happy to assist you in purchasing them at the time of class.

Beginning

Just getting started or want to? Getting started DOES NOT need to be overwhelming! In this hands-on class, we will teach you everything you need to know to get started scrapbooking. Bulk up your knowledge of cutting tools, paper, adhesive and albums. Plenty of opportunity for Q&A and a store tour.

Beyond Beginning - Embellishments
So how much fun can scrapping be? Well, this is the class where the fun begins! Join us to learn about all those cute embellishments you can use on your layouts including, diecuts, brads, eyelets, punches, chalking, inking, embossing, and ribbon. This class is one of the most popular classes in our Beyond Beginning Series.

Cricut Classes
Cricut 101 - Basic
This is a hands-on, limited-seating class, providing you with an in depth overview of the basic functions of your Cricut. Join Ashley as she takes you through a step-by-step process of the physical operation of your Cricut, and more. You'll learn a variety of cutting techniques, in addition to the 'Load-Paper Repeat-Last technique that allows to you to preserve paper.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CLASS: Please bring your Cricut machine, standard cutting blade, cuting mat, and cartridge that came with your machine. If you do not have any of the supplies needed for class, or forget to bring them, we will be happy to assist you in purchasing them at the time of class.

Cricut 101 - Advanced - Expressions
This is an Advanced Cricut 101 specifically for Expression users. You will need to bring your own Cricut Expression, as Ashley takes you beyond Cricut 101- Basic and through the advanced functionality and features of your Cricut Expressions.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CLASS: Cricut Expressions, mat, cartridge that came with your machine. If you do not have any of the supplies needed for class, or forget to bring them, we will be happy to assist you in purchasing them at the time of class.

**Prerequisite: Cricut 101-Basic**

Cricut 110 - Plantin/Schoolbook
Versatility is the name of the game when it comes to the Plantin Schoolbook Cricut cartridge. Popular for its font as well as its creative features, the Plantin Schoolbook Cartridge is packed with content. Besides a font you can modify six ways, there are tags, envelopes, cards, bags, basic shapes, and much more! Come join Ashley as she shows you how to get the most from your Plantin Schoolbook cartridge.

SUPPLIES NEEDED FOR CLASS: Please bring your Cricut Expressions machine, standard cutting blade, cutting mat, Cricut Plantin/Schoolbook cartridge, trimmer with scoring blade or scoring tool, wet/dry adhesives, and black pen. Photography Workshops
Photo #2 - "Mama" razzi -Session 1
If you struggle with:
- pictures being too dark
- taking pictures of babies and kids
- taking pictures at major events (birthdays, sports, weddings, plays)

This is the two part series for you!
These workshops, taught by Dee Moore, one of Kansas City's best photographers, whose photographs you'll find published in numerous national magazines and one of the best selling photography books on the market, will help you become an expert 'Mama'razzi in your own right, by learning how to work with natural light indoors and outdoors, flash, and studio lighting.

Session 1 - focuses on taking natural light photos and how to photograph babies and kids. Learn how to pose and shoot from the right angle and what settings to use for different situations.
